Micro daisy duke KNITTED jean shorts. All functional pockets, belt loops, zipper, and front metal button. This method of making the shorts is not only a novelty of appearance but allows for a better more flattering fit than traditional jeans while maintaining the true definition of traditional denim down to the dye process. Made without using any synthetic or elastic fibers these shorts still move with the body and shapes to you like your favorite pair every time due to the nature of a knitted garment.
Shaped with a low-rise and micro front that gently but significantly slopes into an extended and higher rise back. This unique silhouette keeps these wearable while maintaining the extreme mini micro silhouette.
Each piece is made 100% by hand by just me in NYC and will each vary in terms of “distressing” and hardware materials.
Made with 100% Pima Cotton body over woven with a 50/50 linen silk embellishment to achieve this authentic denim look in knit. Lightly waxed in the knitting process to add a slicker sheen.
Hand dyed naturally with indigo in two separate stages. This also means these will lightly age the way true raw selvedge style denim does. Softening with wear, leaving behind unique signature marks from how you wear them.
Things like rivets, length, back pockets, belt loops, wash and pocket bag length/material are welcome by request in forms below.
