Antler & Shearling Replica Bucket Bag
Shaved and un-shaved premium shearling bucket bag with real antler horn button closure handmade by me in NYC with some vintage and modern sourced materials.
The bag features real fur.. an unshaved top and bottom with striped alternating sides of shaven shearling throughout the body. The suede side strap with sling attachments is sewn by hand with waxed thread to ensure strength. The bag straps are also secured again using a top covering on the inside of the bag. The bag also has hand-stitched reinforced whipstitching with 100% cotton sashiko thread on the handle seam allowance, one large suede card pocket on the inside, and the bottom is reinforced with thick treated leather to hold up the shape with weight.
The design of this bag is based on my personal favorite vintage 70's boar hide purse I found off of Haight and Ashbury in 2015. It is the most complimented piece in my collection, and I wanted to make a few variations inspired by it.
These are made with as little waste as possible and thoughtfully utilizing every part of the two hides shown.
This variation is the most exactly replicated one and also the smallest and most compact but still can fit a Mary Poppins amount of items in it due to the bucket style and cylindrical bottom.

This is a one-of-one handmade piece and will remain personal to you!
